This stunning colour way was achieved entirely with plants!
Note the beautiful vibrant blue, extracted from local Concord grapes that I harvested at my parent’s farm.
The amazing August sunshine yellow was coaxed out of about 15 cups of marigold flowers, and the dry skins of 2 3lb bags of yellow onions!
I made only 2 skeins of this colour way, so it really is “small batch”!
The artisan touch is really visible in this wool, with beautiful transitions between the colours, and beautiful mottled colouring across both the yellow and blue.
100% Canadian wool.
