Description
Vibrant Citrine Yellow Green (Queen Anne’s Lace)
I made this unique and foggy colourway by simmering one large bouquet of foraged Queen Anne’s Lace for about 6 hours. I used the sweet smelling opened blossoms, as well as the bright green foliage.
Note the vibrant yellow, with almost a “highlighter” quality to it. The lively greenish undertones light up from within, and give a movement to the wool. Take this one to a natural light source to see the full spectrum of this magical colour.
I made only 2 skeins of this colourway, so it really is “small batch, and totally unique.
