Description
Lemon Meringue Pie (Queen Anne’s Lace Yellow & cream)
I made this unique and delicious colourway by simmering one large bouquet of foraged Queen Anne’s Lace for about 6 hours. I used the sweet smelling opened blossoms, as well as the bright green foliage. I dip dyed the skein, leaving some of it out of the dye pot, to result in a bicolour yellow and cream colour way
Note the vibrant yellow, with almost a “highlighter” quality to it. The lively greenish undertones light up from within, and give a movement to the wool. Take this one to a natural light source to see the full spectrum of this magical colour.
I made only 1 skeins of this colour, so it really is “small batch, and totally unique.”
