Description
Concrete Grey & Horseradish Yellow (sumac)
I made this unique and foggy colourway by simmering about 12 cups of ripe, red, fuzzy berry cones from the sumac trees on my parent’s farm.
Note the soft cool toned yellow, flecked with creamy hues throughout. It transitions through a soft tan to a multi tonal grey that pulls shades of purple, green, or brown, depending on the light. Take it to a natural light source to see the full spectrum of this magical colour.
I made only 1 skein of this colour, so it really is “small batch, one-of-a-kind and totally unique.”
