Warm Brown Transitions (walnuts)
I made multi tonal vibrant colourway by soaking about 15 chopped walnuts, including the green husks for a week. I added some iron water to the dye bath, to sadden the colour.
Note the deep camely orange and warm browns along with more pale milk chocolate tones. The full spectrum of the colour can be fully appreciated when the wool is seen in natural light.
I made only 1 skein of this colour, so it really is “small batch, one-of-a-kind and totally unique.”
Check out some of the other Walnut skeins, for some beautiful pairings.
